If you are a golfer, Scotland is your homeland. You must return there at some point in your life. The past five days I’ve had are ones that I wish every golfer could experience. The highlights were pretty easy to pick-out:

Today we had the opportunity to watch the first round of the Open Championship. It was surreal to sit in the grandstands and watch one of the best golf tournaments in the world, if not THE best. The group I enjoyed the most was Sergio Garcia and Steve Stricker. Both golfers are fun to watch, and one is a TaylorMade/adidas guy and the other is a fellow Wisconsinite. …more

Often referred to the land of the midnight sun, Norway’s North Cape is considered as the northernmost point in Europe. Located 35 minutes by car from the city Tromso is Tromso Golf Course, the world's northern-most golf course, where for 76 days the summer sun is out for 24 hours a day. Stavanger Golf Club was founded in 1956 and one of Norway's oldest clubs. In august 2006, it was host to the Norwegian Championships.
